The beautiful art of famed artist Romero Britto is featured on the cover of the new AT&T Real Yellow Pages directory serving Miami and several other directories serving surrounding communities. The piece, “Miami Paradise,” will adorn the covers of the Miami-Dade County, Aventura, Miami Beach, Kendall, Coral Gables, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest and South Miami directories.  It was a wonderful night filled with excitement, good food, amazing art and some great people!

Saturday night we went to support Friends Forever Animal Rescue at White Lion Cafe in Homestead.  Our 2 dogs dressed up and we all had fun and for a great cause.  They had a costume competition for the pooches.  See some of the contestants ahead... ruff night...... :]

DO IT FOR THE DOGS A SUCCESS!

WOW.  What a wonderful experience this was.  We photographed over 20 dogs of all colors, sizes, shapes and tongues!!  We  raised $550 and donated 400 pounds of dog food for FRIENDS FOREVER ANIMAL SHELTER!  Thanks to all who participated!!  We learned lot about this experience--there are always going to be people who don't show up, bring activities for the children helpers for slow times, and for the photographer, to get down on the ground more-- eye to eye with the pooches.
I met such amazing dogs and owners that day.
Thanks to:
Rachel (my 10 yr old daughter who had this fantastic idea!) and her brothers for their help.
Matt, Owner of WellHeeled Dog (www thewellheeleddog.com) donating his time
Blanca & her staff at Pets Best who gave us the space and had extra staff available and were so wonderful and helpful!  (and for the great gift bags!)
Rupert (my patient husband who also helps me get around with my equipment) and all who donated their time, $ and services to make this a success.  Here are some of our superstars!!
