As our children grow up, go to college, move to another city, state or country and start their own independent lives, we (the parents) hope we have given them the tools they need to succeed.
I had the opportunity to photograph Josiane and her daughter Jourdan who came down to visit for Mothers Day. They have a very special relationship & I tried to capture that during our photo session. I admire their caring way with each other and Jourdans' warmth towards her mother. I aspire to have similar relations with our children as they grow and mature into adults! (Whats the secret?)
