RED HEADS

Boy, do I love to photograph red headed children.  (Of course I am biased as I have one of my own!)  There is something magical about that hair.  S is a beautiful girl with a spunky personality and dance moves to match!!   It took her a little while to relax but once she did, WOW did the camera love her!

Torah Blessing in Cutler Bay

Yes, Photography is my profession.   I am blessed I love what I do but what I find is each new client teaches me something.  Here are some images from a Torah Dedication for a Chabad in Cutler Bay.  This Torah which was written in 1899 in Romania, miraculously survived the Holocaust and now has a new home here in South Florida.   This was an event filled with such positive aura...including singing, dancing, prayer and lots of love.  When I finished photographing this event I was filled with appreciation for the simple gifts like time, being present and enjoying family/friends.

THE SIMPLEST PLEASURES!!

What a blast working with this dynamic family!  With 3 children, daddy feeling under the weather and many other factors that would prevent many from postponing a photo session....
I am so glad we didn't!

I LOVE MY JOB.... working with such fantastic families.  The girls yesterday were so happy and carefree.  They enjoyed the simplest pleasures, playing in the grass, blowing bubbles, pretending to be butterflies and just being present with their mother, father and baby brother.  Were we all like that when we were 6?  I wonder............... :)

DREW & AMANDA

I had the opportunity to spend some time with two special children, Drew and Amanda.
These siblings represent what every parent dreams of in terms of a brother/sister relationship, at least in the time we were together.  They were so kind to each other and really loved being together.
When I was speaking with Drew, he told me his best friend is his sister, Amanda.  (I melted with that one having 3 children of my own that fight often these days!)  Here are a few from our session!  I have limited space available for holiday photos!  Call for more details!   Peace!

DO IT FOR THE DOGS A SUCCESS!

WOW.  What a wonderful experience this was.  We photographed over 20 dogs of all colors, sizes, shapes and tongues!!  We  raised $550 and donated 400 pounds of dog food for FRIENDS FOREVER ANIMAL SHELTER!  Thanks to all who participated!!  We learned lot about this experience--there are always going to be people who don't show up, bring activities for the children helpers for slow times, and for the photographer, to get down on the ground more-- eye to eye with the pooches.
I met such amazing dogs and owners that day.
Thanks to:
Rachel (my 10 yr old daughter who had this fantastic idea!) and her brothers for their help.
Matt, Owner of WellHeeled Dog (www thewellheeleddog.com) donating his time
Blanca & her staff at Pets Best who gave us the space and had extra staff available and were so wonderful and helpful!  (and for the great gift bags!)
Rupert (my patient husband who also helps me get around with my equipment) and all who donated their time, $ and services to make this a success.  Here are some of our superstars!!

Fashion Photo Session with Hailey

WOW it has been a while since I wrote!  I have so busy but now getting ready for the holiday season and Saturday is Rachels Do It For The Dogs Fundraiser at Pets Best.   I am really looking forward to that!

So yesterday Hailey came to our studio and we did some of our shoot in the studio and the rest outside.  Hailey has such a great style and personality. (She has the most amazing skin I have ever seen!!)  We had several clothing changes and got some great images from our session.  Great Day It Was!  :)
